Services

In-depth advisory across visas, residency and EU corporate formation.

Each engagement is led by a senior consultant and supported by our document review and government liaison team. The descriptions below outline the scope and methodology of our most requested practice areas.

01

National Work Visas (D-type)

Long-stay national visas allowing legal employment in Poland for 90 days to 1 year, convertible into a Temporary Residence Card.

The Polish National D-type visa is the standard legal instrument for foreign nationals taking up employment with a Polish employer. It is issued by the Polish consulate in your country of residence and is conditional on a valid work permit (Zezwolenie na pracę) typed A, B, C, D or E, or — for nationals of select countries — a simplified declaration of employment (Oświadczenie).

We advise both employers and individual applicants. For employers we structure the labor market test, draft the work permit application, manage Voivodeship correspondence and prepare the consular packet for the candidate. For individual applicants we audit the employer-supplied documents, prepare the consular interview, and convert the visa into a Karta Pobytu within 90 days of arrival.

Common rejection grounds we proactively address include: insufficient financial means evidence, inconsistencies between the work permit and the employment contract, missing apostille on educational certificates, and unclear accommodation proof.

02

Karta Pobytu (Temporary Residence Card)

1–3 year residence permit with the right to work, granted by the Voivode based on employment, business activity, family ties or studies.

The Karta Pobytu is the cornerstone of long-term legal stay in Poland. It can be granted on multiple legal bases — single permit (work + residence), business activity, family reunification, EU Blue Card, scientific research, or as a graduate of a Polish university. Each basis carries distinct evidentiary requirements.

We prepare the full submission packet for your Voivodeship, including the Wniosek o udzielenie zezwolenia na pobyt czasowy, accommodation evidence (lease with notarized landlord declaration where required), means-of-subsistence calculations against the statutory threshold, health insurance certificate, and employer attachments.

We also handle the post-submission phase: scheduling biometrics, monitoring the case in the Voivodeship's electronic system, responding to uzupełnienie braków letters within statutory deadlines, and preparing appeals to the Head of the Office for Foreigners where necessary.

03

Business Registration in Poland (Sp. z o.o.)

End-to-end formation of a Polish limited liability company, from name reservation through KRS registration, VAT and bank account setup.

The Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością (Sp. z o.o.) is the most common corporate vehicle for foreign founders in Poland. It offers limited liability, a minimum share capital of PLN 5,000, eligibility for Estonian CIT and IP Box regimes, and — when correctly structured — a legal basis for founder residency.

Our formation service covers: company name clearance, drafting of the Articles of Association (Umowa Spółki) in bilingual form, notarial execution or S24 electronic incorporation, KRS court registration, REGON and NIP issuance, VAT and EU-VAT registration, ZUS employer registration, and introduction to vetted Polish accounting partners.

We pair company formation with the residency strategy from day one. A Sp. z o.o. is not, by itself, a residence permit — it must be coupled with operational substance, board appointment evidence, and economic activity thresholds to support a Karta Pobytu application.

Germany Relocation Package

Freiberufler permits, EU Blue Card transfers, Niederlassungserlaubnis planning and Anmeldung guidance for clients targeting the German market.

For clients whose commercial center of gravity sits in Germany, we coordinate with German immigration counsel to deliver a full relocation engagement: visa category selection (Skilled Worker, Self-Employment §21, EU Blue Card), Anmeldung registration, tax-ID acquisition, GKV/PKV health insurance selection, and Bürgeramt scheduling.

We are particularly experienced with cross-border structures where a Polish Sp. z o.o. provides the operating entity and a German residence permit covers the founder, leveraging the EU freedom of establishment and dual residency planning.
